Chicken carcass in Irish beer



Chicken — 1 PC. (carcass weighing about 2 kg),
Potatoes (medium) – 6 PCs.,
Irish dark beer-1.5 bottles,

Chicken carcass in Irish beer

Fresh herbs (thyme, marjoram, rosemary) — 2-3 sprigs,
Salt, black pepper, coarse — to taste,
Vegetable oil-4 tablespoons.


Wash and dry the chicken with paper towels. On a baking sheet, pour vegetable oil and put half of the herbs in it, stuff the rest of the carcass, then RUB it with salt and pepper, grease with oil. Wash potatoes thoroughly, but do not clean.

In the middle of the pan lay the chicken, potatoes around it, pour the beer so that it does not wash away the oil from the back of the carcass, and put in a preheated oven to 200 degrees. Cook for 45-50 minutes or 1 hour (depending on the weight of the chicken).
